water fun at grandma's

Grandma and grandpa Jahn have a great number of outdoor water toys at their place.  Now that the older nephews have kind of outgrown them (literally) it's time for the next generation.  While Cora is still timid about the whole thing, Amara is literally head first into the fun.

She wasn't put off by the chilly water at all!  She jumped right in there with Garhett and Gideon and they all had a blast!

I think the 3 of them raced up the side of it, down the slide and into the wading pool over a hundred times!

Even at 2, Gideon has no fear--and Amara tries to help sometimes and it's clear he's got his own agenda ;)

Little Shepherd wasn't ready for the water yet, but enjoyed the outdoors anyway, with mom.

Cora wasn't feeling well, she spent most of the afternoon sitting with me, poor thing, we all know there's not much worse than a summer cold.  Boo

They played outside till dinner time, and then had one last round of playing after dinner, before bedtime.  They weren't as exhausted as I'd hoped when we got home, but I'm sure they'll jump at the chance to play anytime it's offered!
