fun with irelyn

Beanie and Irelyn always have so much fun at school together--we figured we'd let them take their party to the weekend and see what they could get into !  I thawed out some cookie dough and they were only too excited to dive into those!  

We played outside for a bit, played in the water table, and then came back inside (it was hot).  They were in and out and in and out--Cora had gone down for a nap, so it was ok.

After coming inside, we decided to get crafty.

We did some bracelet stringing and they girls made bracelets, the we got out the painting supplies and they did an A and an I for their names.  Amara did hers in a color block fashion and Irelyn blended all her colors together.

They really played well together and we said that next time, she can visit Irelyn's house--I know she has dogs, so that will be a blast!  Good times with good pals!
