Cora's 3rd birthday fell on a Monday holiday this year, so we all got to enjoy a long birthday weekend together! It kicked off with her party, at Recreations Outlet in Powell--where we got Amara's trampoline when SHE turned 3 :) We invited lots of her tiny friends and family to all come up and play, on a cold day with lots of snow outside.
Cora loved the slides best, and they were SUPER fast that day. She was climbing and exploring all over! I love watching how much the kids grow and do differently from visit to visit up there. We're not up there as much now as we used to be, so you can really tell it.
This boat-style swing held 4 of the Young cousins--Connor wasn't feeling well and missed out on the boat-ride, but the rest had a blast!
Cousins and family took a break from the action in the party room, where all the treats were too. We made a fruit salad, had cake, cookies and candies for the guests too and all of it was Cora's favorite (Frozen) themed.
After all that playing, the kids welcomed coming in for a break and a snack--but it didn't keep them down long. As soon as the cake was cut and devoured--they were back out into the play area.
Cora loved her frozen cake--which was PURPLE on the inside as well as beautiful on the outside. All the guests enjoyed a big slice with ice cream too.
Cora loves singing happy birthday so i wasn't really surprised that she sang it to herself. It was so sweet and she was so excited to be celebrating her much anticipated day. We had a great time at the play place and with our snacks and feel so lucky to have had great friends and family with us to celebrate too.
