I was lucky enough to have the tip off about Frozen on ice coming to tour--the closest though was Cleveland for us. On a whim, Eric and I decided (in April) to book the show for January, for a little overnight excursion.
By the time January rolled around, BOY were we ready for that trip and we picked the girls up and headed on our way for the adventure. We got into town, dropped our bags at the hotel and got a shuttle to the arena. The girls were overcome with Frozen merchandise and Elsas EVERYWHERE but they really didn't ask for much. We got to the seats and sent dadd on a dinner run.
We had a great spot on the ice, 3rd row--great sightlines and a dinner in our seats thanks to dad. Nachos, pizza, slushies, the works! Now mom has a weak spot and intermission did gain us a couple of Elsa dolls, but they seemed to love them and we had an amazing night.
We were a little wired in the hotel that night, trouble sleeping, but some swimming the next morning got everyone ready for the car ride back home. It was a whirlwind, not even 24 hours but such a great, GREAT show and i'm glad we made the trip together.
