Amara signed up for basketball this season with long-time pal Irelyn and it was entertaining! They practiced at JC Sommers once a week during winter and it was great to get her out of the house and trying something new.
We often saw friends from school (like Callie and her family) or played friends like Khloe or Payton in games, that's fun for me.
Amara wasn't super aggressive in taking the ball or running the court, but she really seemed to like it and have fun. This was her first season ever playing and you could tell some of the girls were really into it (like anything I guess) and that was a little intimidating.
But she had a great little team and it was fun watching her grow and learn all season long. Great job Amara!
