This winter has been insane trying to coordinate with mom and the kids activities, not to mention school and work. One thing that has been a life-saver though for us is having the play place and cafe at the naz to go to.
Sometimes once a week, sometimes 4x a week, I bring Amara and her homework, and we pick up Cora and we hang at the play place. Sometimes it's dinner, sometimes it's homework or playing, and usually it's killing time before basketball or dance, but it's always convenient and perfect for us.
Our house is *just* far enough away not to want to run home and this is a win/ win for us. The kids see friends and play and sometimes eat, and then we don't have to run around like crazy people. It really has been perfect and a blessing for us.
