So, right after getting home from the hospital--the first thing on Amara's mind was Landon (Hinkle)'s birthday party--we'd been talking about it for days. She was so worried she'd miss it, and the doctor said she could do whatever she wanted...
so out the door we went. We were late, but it was ok--that just meant I hoped she wouldn't over do it.
She was thrilled to see Landon as well as Alex and Irelyn when she got there. Everyone was asking about her toe and she was showing everyone, but playing like nothing happened. After playing, she had her pizza and cake--though I could see her winding down...afterall she had the drama of the morning and then no nap on top of it.
Amara wanted to get Landon a marshmallow gun for his birthday--we'd gotten them for the cousins in the past. He loved it! She got right up front to watch him open it and his mom (Christine) yelled "he can play with this at Amara's house!!" She'd love that :)
She had great fun at the party and really enjoyed seeing her friends. I'm SO very glad she was able to make it!
