If the day hadn't been long enough, we had a bonfire AFTER Landon's party! When it rains, it pours! We left the party and got to the bonfire, where Eric and Cora were already waiting on us, but just in time for some of the fun parts. She was so excited to see Jackson and Garhett were there too!
She got to be first to take a swing at the pumpkin pinjata--no luck breaking it, but it was fun to watch.
Then she sat with the bigger kids and waited for someone to bust it--it ended up being Garhett, who broke the stick on the tree!
Jackson kept the girls in cheetos and trail mix the whole party and we stayed until they really started winding down...but not before Amara had daddy roast her a marshmallow (or two).
She was a good helper and ate all that he made!
Before we could leave, my little wanderer had to take off at least once. I found her out in the bean field, helping the bigger kids look for a lost football. I love the innocence of watching her wander off, especially when I know where she is.
We had a lot of fun and a long day, but we really had a great time seeing friends and family!
