Amara was so happy to bring home the invitation for her friend Callie's birthday party on Tuesday! She is a super sweet and smart little girl, and we immediately said yes to the invitation and got to shopping for her.
The party was on Sunday after hip hop, so we got changed, gift wrapped and out the door. Her cake and party games were frozen--Amara enjoyed doing bowling games and a ring toss with Callie and Asyia (also from school) and some of Callie's cousins. Amara picked lip gloss and nail polish as her prizes for the games, and some for her sister too, which was super sweet.
She opened her gifts with her friends--it was really too chilly to come outside, but they all had fun taking turns helping her and opening. The cake was great too, very yummy, but the kids didn't spend too much time on that--they were back up in the bedrooms, playing with the older sisters (who also go to Darbydale) and friends. Her family was super nice and it was a great family party.
