Christmas eve was about the only time we could fit in making our own cutouts this year--and it happened to work out perfectly with when our friends wanted to bake, so they joined in with us!Kirsten needed to make more turtles (hers were a hit from cookie day) so we worked on those and the kids took turns decorating. They picked purple, blue, pink, green, and white for their colors, but they got a little mixed as the decorating went on...
We all sampled them and quality checked--both were delicious! Grandma Harmon's recipe lives on, and Cora was SUCH a trooper rolling out shapes with me. I think she'd have done it for hours if I'd have let her.
