First REAL sleepover

For July 4th weekend, our friends stayed with us and the kids had a sleepover of sorts, but last night, Amara had Saphira come over and had a REAL sleepover, no mommy down the hall, but just the girls.
The girls ran and played, painted nails, jumped on the trampoline in the rain and ate marshmallows. They went into their room to play and came in for a snack later--cheetos at bedtime :)

At 11, Saphira came in and told us she was scared and wanted to go home--she was comforted though by me coming into their room to sleep, so I slept on the bottom and the girls up top. They giggled and snickered a bit, but being so tired, finally crashed.

Not sure any of us got much sleep, but at 6:30ish they were up and it it--Cora snuck in (she had been in bed by the time Amara and Saphira came home after dance the night before) to get in on the fun.  The girls got dressed quickly and went to jump on the trampoline some more, before getting to spend the full day at Carissa's too.

Even though it wasn't even 24 hours, and it was under stressed circumstances, we had a great time and we can't wait for her to come back over. The girls are most certainly growing up.
