Cora's birthday family day!

We had an AWESOME day celebrating Cora's birthday together!! Eric and I took the day off and we got up and at it early--starting at Jolly Pirates for donuts and saying hi to Mr. Mastrogianakis.

Next up was COSI--where we realized that this might be our last year to be a part of the KidSpace, for Amara anyway :( sad, so we agreed to spend a lot of time there.

There was a new painting corner, which the girls were THRILLED with and we stayed there quite a while. They loved mixing paints and experimenting with techniques and looking all around the room for inspiration.

Cora loved painting on the lightbox with her hands--not sure I can recreate that one but it was sure fun to do there.

And the girls convinced daddy to do the suspension bicycle--something they aren't big enough to do yet. Eric said it's slightly uphill at the end so hard to get over to the other side. They were kind of scared that he would fall, but they were all smiles on the way back.
Downstairs we played with some fun robots too--it seems like we find something new every time we all go there--it would take a month to get through it all.

I think us spending the day all together exploring and laughing is the best present for any of us and I selfishly consider it a celebration for me too.
