Christmas evening

After the busy morning, we headed over to mom and dad's to see if Santa visited there, and to visit the boys.  We hadn't been there just a few minutes when they showed up too--

...but not before Beanie got to receive her first (of I'm sure will be many) motorized scooters from Grandma and Grandpa.  It was SO cute--they said they ran across it in a store and decided she just had to have it!  She jumped right on it without hesitation and quickly learned how to protect her knuckles from getting scraped on the cabinets as she blazed through the kitchen at lightning (2 mph) speed.

She had fun opening and sharing with the boys--they all got their share of farm equipment, Beanie, her first combine!  We even got some pink John Deere gear for baby girl--a first for us, considering with Amara, all our digs were green and yellow :)

Uncle T and boys got her a cookie monster, a new favorite friend for her bed, and she loves her Weebles tree house and yummy pizza and mixer set to accompany her new kitchen set too.
We stayed and played with her toys and their toys and boxes, and whatever we could find, but it wasn't long till we could see the energy draining and the day wearing on her (and all of us).  We packed up and headed home, with the promise to return tomorrow and get her goodies to play with, and for a quick visit of course.  Watch out for the newest driver!
