Cora at childrens

The day after mom had her brain surgery, less than 12 hours later, we were at Children's hospital with Cora. Unreal. She woke up with a fever and coughing and super fast and shallow breathing, so early in the morning we went up. Amara was a trooper, heading in--but Grandma and Grandpa Young were even better and came up and picked her up from Children's and got her steak and eggs at Waffle House, SCORE!

In the meantime, Cora was getting xray'd to rule out pheumonia and getting breathing treatments and taking pills for the first time and being rewarded with popsicles and applesauce which she loved. Not completely diagnosed with reactive airway disease like Amara, but certainly something respiratory that made it hard on her to breathe. She really did great and by noon we were home, snuggled in bed and resting.

We were all wiped out from the week before, to have this happen now, but we all pulled together and got Cora Bee feeling better by the end of the day. We laid low for the weekend but I still got to go spend time with mom, and by Monday we were back to 100%
