Harvest parade at Primrose

We've been enjoying all of Amara's "firsts" at preschool so very much for the last few months.  She had her first parade of costumes for the 4th of July, and a Grandparent's event last month, but we were all SUPER excited for her first Halloween costume parade!

Since she had picked out a cat costume for Halloween, we packed it up the night before.  Grandma Jackie had found some perfect black boots for her, she had tights, and eats and the whole bit.  Secretly, I wondered how she'd do with someone else getting her ready, but I was excited to see her experience these things.

Grandma and Grandpa Jahn came to her school to surprise her, as well as Mrs. Sarah and Jonathan.  We were so excited everyone was there, but BUMMER, it rained!! Parade pushed on, regardless, we just moved to the hallway.  It was pretty crowded, but the kids paraded up and down the hall regardless and we all loved seeing them and waved, and laughed.

Afterwards, back to her room for cookies, she showed us one of her favorite You Tube videos from the computer called "Halloween Light Show" and all the kids were crowded around it singing to LMFAO's Party Rock.  Adorable.
