Gahanna light parade

Mom caught a glimpse of a light parade in Gahanna on Black Friday night, and I looked into it.  We found out that it was a 75 entry parade and all the entries were lit--sounded pretty cool!
We got there about 20 til 6, thinking it'd be packed, but we were fine.  We got a great spot actually, and Eric set off to find us cocoa.

Finally at parade time, Cora loved watching the bands and Amara loved the lights.  The only downside, was there were some spacing issues in the parade entries, so it made it very SLOW going and our impatient (and cold) little ladies weren't enjoying that part of it, haha.
Once things kicked up, it was good, and then the parade started looping back on itself, so the 2nd time by, it was on our side of the street, a bonus for sure!
Santa was at the end, waving and blowing snow to everyone, which the girls loved too--but they also loved the horses, dogs, and all the waving kids in the parade.
Eric had ordered us some to-go 'za by the place where we were standing, Gahanna Pizza Plus, so we took that, the girls in the wagon, and to the car to defrost--by this time it was in the upper 20s!!

Everyone had fun--thank goodness there was no wind or sleet, b/c there is NO way we'd have lasted, but it was a great end to our day that started out finding our Christmas tree--all this just 24 hours after Thanksgiving dinner!
