Santa found us at our new house!

As we got home from work one evening and were sitting down to have dinner with G'ma and G'pa Jahn, who should come rapping at our door but SANTA!!  The girls were thrilled to see him out the window and went racing to the door to let him in.
Same as always, he entered in grand style with his jingle bells and ho-ho-ho-ing all the way.
He came in and took his place in a chair by the fireplace, while the girls greeted him and inspected every detail--especially his sack of presents (which they hoped they were lucky enough to earn one!)
Santa sang songs, and told stories.  He asked them if they had been good, how they liked the new house, and talked to them about what they wanted for Christmas.  Amara asked for a Fur-real friends kitty, and she told Santa that Cora wanted an elephant--we were all in shock on that one.
Cora was great with Santa, not shy at all!  When Santa asked for a volunteer to help him with a song, Amara volunteered her sister, and Cora jumped right up. Her special prop was a spongy red rudolph nose, which helped her sing Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer, right along with Santa himself!
The girls did get to open one present each that Santa brought.  Amara got the memory game, Christmas version, and Cora got a pie counting/sorting game that they both loved at first sight.
After presents, songs, visits with G'ma and G'pa and mom and dad, we all got some group photos and then as quick as he came, Santa had to move on to more visits--this is his busy time and all.  We were so grateful to see Santa this year, the girls were thrilled he found our new house, and we loved hearing them talk about his surprise visit that night.
