MAN! It seems like birthdays have hit our family big this month! We were lucky enough today to be a part of my cousin Jordan and his wife Bethany and their little girl McKenzie's big first birthday party!
The girls were thrilled--Amara ADORES Jordan, and of course cousin Kylah was there--she and Cora had a good time rolling the pool balls around. Amara also got to play "big cousin" to new baby sister to Kylah, Adalyn--just 7 weeks old. Plenty of grandmas around to supervise that one!
Amara decided to be the entertainment, since we had cheer camp afterwards, she showed her back bend to anyone who would watch--literally, ANYONE.
But we had fun, and even though Cora blew out McKenzie's candle, (really, a parent's worse nightmare--our kid slips up to the bday high chair and bogarts the candle) and Amara was a show-off, we all had fun celebrating the birthday girl!
